Arts Beat: No Get Me Out Of Here!!!

Reality TV dead. Not according to the folks at NBC who just announced a partial cast lineup for “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”

Celebs include TV host John Salley from “Best Damned Sports Show Period,” Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from “The Hills,” supermodel Janice Dickinson from “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency,” Sanjaya Malakar, a contestant on “American Idol,” actor Stephen Baldwin “The Unusual Suspects” and wrestler Torrie Wilson.

The show tests celebrities survival skills by placing them in the jungles of Costa Rica. There they duke it out to win food, supplies and prizes, much like on the CBS hit show “Survivor,” while trying to raise money for charity. Each week, the viewers vote out one celeb, until the last person remaining is named King or Queen of the jungle-oh how Tarzan of them!

For some reason watching celebrities in the jungle just has no appeal to me. Personally, I prefer the boardroom. But, then again the thought of Spenceidi toughing it out anywhere sounds like heaven to me.
