Are You Prepared For An Emergency?

Wednesday, Sept. 16 is Emergency Preparedness Day at SMU. The SMU Emergency Notification System did a test run this morning at 7:52 a.m., alerting students, faculty and staff via automated phone calls, text messages and emails to all campus Webmail addresses.

Emergency procedures and policies have been revised since an incident occurred this summer, where a campus-wide emergency message left students and faculty scared and confused.
