DJ Hero Released Tuesday

Publishing company Activision launched DJ Hero on Tuesday, one of the most highly anticipated music games of the year. It works just like Guitar Hero, only gamers use a fake turntable instead of a fake guitar.
Gamers can mix and scratch from a list of 102 different songs from across genres, including rap, dance, and hip-hop. A special edition of the game features additional songs and mixes from music icons Jay-Z and Eminem.
Much like the original Guitar Hero, the game is easy to learn but difficult to master. And it can be just as addicting.
The basic DJ Hero game with turntable is retailing at $119.99, while the Renegade Edition will cost you $199.99.
SMU students can try out the new game at the “M” Lounge, located in the Hughes-Trigg Center on campus.
