SMU Leads 17-0 Midway Through 2nd Quarter

Junior Shawnbrey McNeal ran for 10 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter to give SMU the early lead. Padron has thrown for 181 yards on 8-10 passing. SMU has punted the ball only once.

The Wolfpack have finally gotten their offense going moving the ball on the ground and through the air. Colin Kaepernick has thrown for 19 yards and Mark Lampford has rushed for 38. Lampford started in the place of Nevada’s leading rusher Vae Taua who was ruled academically ineligible.

Nevada has 90 yards of total offense compared to SMU’s 192.
