Kappa Alpha Returns to SMU

After being suspended from the university over a year ago, the Kappa Alpha Order has announced plans to return to SMU. The KAs were suspended from the Greek community in February of 2009 for holding an off-campus social event while on deferred suspension. Members moved out of the KA house soon after their suspension, as ordered by university officials.

Wednesday’s Career and Internship Fair Prep Day featured networking skills and resumania. Students who attended the prep day got help on how to stand out in a pile of hundreds of applicants.

University Business magazine chose SMU’s Hegi Family Career and Development Center as an August 2010 Models of Efficiency honoree. The magazine recognized innovative efforts at college campus administrative offices.
