Can’t get enough of SMU Hawaii Bowl coverage?

Then make sure to tune into SMU-TV (channel 19 in the Park Cities) tonight at 7 p.m. to watch the 1984 Aloha Bowl in its entirety. SMU, led by a combined 215 yards from tailbacks Jeff Atkins and Reggie Dupard, defeated Notre Dame and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown, 27-20.

Just prior to the game, you’ll see a 14-minute special edition of The Daily Update that ran on Dec. 2, when the Mustangs knew they were bound for Hawaii but did not yet know their opponent. “A Team Under Construction” features student reporters Alan H. Rose, Robby Gillespie, and Chris Dell breaking down the back story of the team’s comeback season.

For the latest from Honolulu, visit The Daily Mustang to soak in up-to-the-minute Hawaii Bowl coverage from Rose and Gillespie, who are sending back videos, stories, tweets and blog posts.

Gillespie hosted a live video chat from Honolulu earlier today.
