Men’s Tennis Player Earns Bid To NCAA Tournament

SMU tennis player Artem Baradach, currently ranked No. 47 in the ITA, received an at-large bid to the NCAA Singles Championships, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
As the Mustangs No. 1 singles players, Baradach earned a 16-7 record, going 4-3 against nationally ranked opponents. He finished the season winning eight of his last nine matches.
His 2010 record includes a 6-0, 6-1 victory in Austin over then No. 7 ranked Dimitar Kutrovsky of Texas.
He finished off the season with a win over No. 35 Marcelo Arevalo of Tulsa, in the semifinals of the C-USA Championship.
The University of Georgia hosts the NCAA men’s singles championships which are scheduled for May 26-31 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia.
